Description
INSIGHT | Designed by Italian architect Giuseppe Maggiore in a perfect mix of Byzantine and Roman art, with a touch of Gothic, Saint-Stephen cathedral in the antique coastal town of Batroun, was completed in the early 20th century. It is one is of the largest and most beautiful churches in Lebanon, overlooking the fishing port. I tried to capture it with a straightforward frontal approach, then converted the image into black and white for what I felt would be a more dramatic rendering.
