INSIGHT | A few decades ago when I used to shoot exclusively transparency film, I was always left with a couple of unexposed frames at the beginning of the film roll. One day I decided to experiment randomly burning one of these frame with a small flame -no, I�m not a pyromaniac-and see what happens to the color emulsion. Frankly, I was quite amazed at the unexpected result and with a tad of imagination on my part, it appeared to me as some scene from outer space. I didn�t think twice and immediately grabbed my cam and bellows and made a transparency copy of that weird piece of acetate.
