Love love the shapes and the pop of yellow in the gray. Excellent lines and textures, too. Beautiful colors and light and a simple, haunting subject. This is my Pick of the Day in the Best of Minimalism in Photography group for May 12.

Artist's Description

While walking the small streets in Liege, a rain shower made me stop and wait under a porch. Then I noticed across the street this white buildings columns softly lit by the cloudy sky. I was fascinated by their simple, minimalist, yet superlative design, rhythmic interaction, subtle color palette of whites and beige. I waited a few minutes for the rain to stop, then just captured them straight on, zooming in from where I was standing, to increase the flattening effect.

You can order this image for worldwide delivery from Fine Art America, in a choice of sizes, superbly printed and finished on canvas, metal, acrylic, artist or photo paper, as well as home and office accessories such as Duvet Covers, Throw Pillows, Tote Bags, Shower Curtains, and Phone Cases.

A look in the eyes, a tree in the sun, dancing reflections on water, all whispering to my senses “Look at...
