Beautiful arches but you are right...it looks a little soulless compared to what I am imagining it was (like the grand bazaar in Istanbul?) What I can't imagine is living through a civil war...such violence and hatred and still it continues in many countries. We have a healthy disrespect for our politicians( and all authority)...we rate them officially as lower than used car salesmen... I hope it stays that way...even though there is always the danger of fanatics. f/l

Thanks for your insightful comment, Denise. In spite of all the horrors going on in front of our eyes (worldwide) the power of life will always prevail hopefully ... I strongly feel that we, humans, as a whole, are indeed a very interesting case for shrinks.
