INSIGHT | From a photo of an ivy climbing up a white wall, I felt like creating some kind of tapestry design with symmetrical repetitive patterns. I liked the resulting image, but dwelling deeper into it I felt it too natural-looking for what I had envisioned. So I decided to invert it totally and turn all colors and densities into their opposite. I think the resulting image was quite close to what I was expecting. I particularly liked the warm colors. Later, I thought of further altering the color palette and turn it into something much colder. I liked the result and decided to finalize it along with the warmer image.
