Outstanding and well done! v/f and my Pick of the Day in the Best of Minimalism in Photography!

Artist's Description

While on a field trip with my photography class to the Port of Beirut, I was standing at the edge of the dock, feeling so tiny in front of this gigantic and totally empty black cargo ship waiting to be loaded. This enormous mass of steel seemed to be hardly touching the surface of the water, almost as floating in the air, beautifully contrasting with the light, calm, and smooth surface of the sea, extending deep into the horizon, as if it was calling me to those distant shores. I used an extra-wide angle lens to capture and translate the serenity of the scene, while keeping the composition and color palette as light and minimalist as possible.

You can order this image for worldwide delivery from Fine Art America, in a choice of sizes, superbly printed and finished on canvas, metal, acrylic, artist or photo paper, as well as home and office accessories such as Duvet Covers, Throw Pillows, Tote Bags, Shower Curtains, and Phone Cases.

A look in the eyes, a tree in the sun, dancing reflections on water, all whispering to my senses “Look at...
