Artist's Description
INSIGHT | While on a field trip to the antique fishing port of Byblos with my photography students at AUB, I saw this orange and white boat, literally dancing in perfect sync with its own reflections on the blue water, just a few meters away. It took me a couple of very long minutes, waiting for what I thought would be the perfect compositional balance between the boat and its fleeting images on the water, before I clicked the shutter. This image was shot on film.

They are looking at us, watching us, calling us silently, hoping to be noticed, remembered, and maybe immortalized with a photograph.
