Love the bold colors and shapes on this doorway. It is those bright colors that are inviting to the viewer to take a step inside. The irony is that right next to the door frame is a No Entry street sign. An eye catching mix of colors and signals. L/F

Amazing colors and geometry.

Artist's Description

INSIGHT | What could have better rendered the spirit of the 60s counter culture than this mundane door in Saint-Germain, re-born to the colors of change and hope. What stroke me most and which I found quite funny, was the awkwardly placed no-entry sign right next to it. This image, shot on Kodachrome transparency film, was graded 5 Stars in the 1971 Kodak World Color challenge.

You can order this image for worldwide delivery from Fine Art America up to 48in wide, superbly printed and finished on your choice of canvas, metal, acrylic, artist or photo paper, the stylish visual complement to your home and office interiors, the perfect gift to your dearest friends and clients. Also available as lifestyle accessories such as Tote Bags, Pouches, Throw Pillows, Duvet Covers, Shower Curtains, Beach Towels, and more.

A look in the eyes, a tree in the sun, dancing reflections on water, all whispering to my senses “Look at...
