INSIGHT | In the pre-digital era of the early 70s, photography special effects were limited to all sorts of optical tricks and physical manipulation of films and prints involving cutting and pasting and the sorts. At that time, I had the chance to play around with a temporary MEA 747 model, with the logo pasted on it, while the real beast was still to be delivered to the airline. What I did to get this composited image was a simple flipped sandwiching of 2 identical Kodachrome transparencies of the model, and which I scanned some 40 years later.
