Artist's Description
I created this mirrored panoramic compositing of downtown Beirut silhouetted cityscape a few years back when the area had not yet been taken over by frantic construction works, thus allowing me to capture the view from an angle which unfortunately cannot be found today, giant buildings having popped up between the scene and where I was standing to capture it. It shows in the foreground the Armenian church, and the gigantic Al Amin mosque in the background. This view actually lasted the time of a mirage. That is the main reason why I tried to render it as a surreal moment.
