Pets, in particular dogs and cats, being possibly man�s truest and most faithful companions, can never be forgotten, even years after they made their final trip to animals� paradise. What can be more soothing really than a cat purring on your lap after a hectic and nerve-wrecking day. In this portrait of my beloved Limpinou who left us a few years ago, I tried my best to render the cold warmth of her presence by using a delicate mix of cold and warm light, combined to a softening effect which would bring out the unique personality of this remarkable creature, projected through her eyes.
So many beautiful things around us, fleeting moments which too often remain unnoticed. They are looking at us, watching us, calling us silently, hoping to be noticed, remembered, and maybe immortalized with a photograph.
